Butner papers, 1900-1912.

The collection includes clippings and pictures about physical education activities at the University of Minnesota, and information about the Sargent system of physical training. Included are clippings and autographed letters from Maria Sanford, clippings and poetry about Presidents Northrop, Vincent and Folwell, and a poem by Richard Burton. Also included are pictures of campus buildings and activities, and of Minneapolis and St. Paul scenes.
